Artifact Donations
Do you have items you’d like to donate? Please reach out to us with your contact information and what items you have. We will set a time to view your items and decide whether we’re able to intake them into the collection.
The R. E. Olds Transportation Museum has built its automobile collection entirely through the generous contributions of many thoughtful collectors. To date, the Museum has received over 90 vehicle donations.
The Vehicle Donation Process
The vehicle donation process typically begins with a review of photographs supplied by the donor and then progresses through an on-site inspection by the Museum, an appraisal if desired (the donor’s responsibility to obtain) and the arrangement of transportation. The museum works with donors during the entire process to ensure a seamless transferral. Furthermore, as an 501(c)3 nonprofit, donors may be permitted to deduct the full fair market value of the vehicle being donated.

You can also donate your vintage vehicle to support our operations and provide for the care of our collection monetarily. Let us find your donated vehicle a new, car-enthusiast owner and we’ll use the sale funds to help the museum.
