Make your next meeting a “historic” event! 

The Bates & Edmonds Engine Company built a factory in 1904 where the museum is presently located. Shortly after the factory was constructed, the Grand River flooded and the entire facility was submerged under 4 feet of water. Then, before the flood waters could recede, the Bates & Edmonds Engine Company building caught fire. The Lansing Fire Department attempted to reach the factory in boats, but it was too late. However, one small section of the building survived- the business offices which today make up our boardroom.

Although steeped in history, our Boardroom has plenty of modern amenities- an 82” smart TV for presentations, a 360 degree video conferencing device, wifi, and a phone system with conferencing ability.

Our board table was saved from the Oldsmobile Administration Building after Oldsmobile ceased production in 2004. It can seat 25 people, but we also have additional seating available along the room perimeter.

Catering: You are welcome to use our recommended caterers or choose your own.

Cost: $200 for three hours or $450 per day, from 9 am- 5 pm. This includes free museum admission for all your attendees (a savings of $10/per person) For rental times outside our normal operating hours, please call for a quote. Car-related clubs may qualify for a discount.
